ST. PATRICK’S CHURCH, the first cathedral in Erie, along with beautiful architecture, features life-size stations of the cross which are known worldwide. A beautiful Russian Orthodox Church of the old order is showcased. CHURCH OF THE NATIVITY OF CHRIST: The Old Believers who made up the founders came from those old priest-less believers who emigrated to the shores of the Northern Lakes and became known as the pomortsi, or shore dwellers. It has to be seen to appreciate this spectacular Romanesque Architectural beauty. We will have a buffet lunch at the CONCOURSE OF THE UNION STATION, a 1927 renovated train station. Afterwards, St. Paul's Episcopalian, a beautiful old style church, founded on St. Patrick's Day in 1827, is next on our Saints tour. After experiencing these beautiful houses of worship and their history, we'll cruise the lake on the VICTORIAN PRINCESS, a double paddle wheel boat actually run by paddle wheels where you can sit back and soak in the beautiful memories of the day.
