7:30 AM – Depart from the parking lot next to the GetGo gas station 4000 Monroeville Blvd across from the Target Store to travel to Pataskala Ohio
8:00 AM - Depart from Home Depot, 25 Dutilh Road Cranberry Township
11:15 AM - Arrival to Nutcracker Family Restaurant, a '50s style diner located in Pataskala, Ohio. Dine on the 50's Club, a triple Decker sandwich loaded with turkey, ham, Swiss, American cheeses and bacon. Groove to the music and enjoy the memorabilia…it will get you in the mood for a simpler time of life.
1:00 PM - Tour the brand NEW VETERANS MEMORIAL MUSEUM - Moderate Walking Arrival to National Veterans Memorial Museum….the only place of its kind in the country!! This cultural institution stands as a place of inspiration for all visitors to come together as one. People with a common bond and a shared pride in our veterans. History will be presented in a dynamic, participatory experience with photos, letters and personal effects, multi-media presentations, and interactive exhibits. Together, these elements will link our national story to the larger context of world events since our country's earliest days and will demonstrate the importance of individuals in shaping our history. Visit the National Veterans Memorial & Museum (NVMM), the only place where the stories of our veterans, their families and the Fallen will be told together. The museum features dynamic exhibits, an outdoor memorial grove and a spiral processional that ascends to a rooftop sanctuary.
2:45 PM – Motts Military Museum - Walk through one of the top 12 military museums in the country. This unique museum encompasses ALL periods of military history with all countries in which the United States has been involved. Memorabilia from the men and women who served in our military, this attraction offers everything from Hitler’s personal note paper, a jeep that was used during the Vietnam War, personal items from Chalmers Wylie, former United States Congressmen who served in W.W.II, Schwarzenegger’s’ Tank and Motts Military Museum will become home to the second largest collection of artifacts from the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in the country.
