DAY 1 – WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2019
Visit the CREATION MUSEUM, 2800 Bullittsburg Church Rd. in Petersburg, KY. The museum does require walking but there are areas for sitting and theater performances where guests will be able to rest.
This 70,000 square foot “walk through history” museum is an alternative to the evolutionary natural history museums. See how its interpretation of the Bible -the “history book of the universe” - provides an account of the beginning of all things.
ChristmasTown - Along with your visit to the CREATION MUSEUM. Stroll through the museum’s botanical gardens amid the breathtaking display of thousands of multi-colored lights. Each year, new designs and more color are added throughout the garden trails so your experience is never the same! As you walk through the Garden of Lights, you’ll also encounter one of the Magi, a wise man who journeyed to Bethlehem to see “the one who was born King of the Jews” and learn of his amazing journey. And, keep an eye out for biblical characters telling about their connection with the birth of Christ. With a live Nativity as the event’s focus on the museum’s beautifully decorated grounds, ChristmasTown presents the true meaning of Christmas as it provides guests a glimpse into the amazing events surrounding the wonder of Christ’s birth. Enjoy a ticketed show at the museum’s acclaimed planetarium. In the museum’s 900-seat auditorium known as Legacy Hall, there will be Christmas concerts featuring talented artists. A Holiday Dinner is included at Noah’s Café.

DAY 2 - THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2019
Bah-Humbug! Breakfast buffet – guests will be greeted by the “Ghost of Christmas Present” during breakfast.
Once breakfast has been completed - The sounds of morning of holiday music with live entertainment from Bob Ford (From old classic Christmas songs from Kingston Trio and Burl Ives to more popular holiday music) this will definitely start your day. It’s a celebration of the SEASON guaranteed to get you in the spirit!
After breakfast, you will depart for KROHN CONSERVATORY. A Cincinnati tradition at Christmas when visitors come from all over to see their displays. There are countless Pink poinsettias featured in the Christmas Show and the Poinsettia Tree is a sight to behold. Little trains work their way across bridges, through flowers, around the little cottages...touches like this make the display unique. The Cottage is surrounded by a forest of cyclamen. A tiny river flows down the hill in the background. The nativity offers guests the reason for the season.
Lunch at Washington Platform Restaurant, which was opened in 1860 as the Johan Armleder Wine and Lager Beer Saloon. The influx of German immigrants to the area helped to establish the enterprise as a favorite gathering place near the Miami Erie Canal. Over time, the restaurant went through a myriad of owners and businesses - as a Chinese hand laundry, a produce shop and a boarding house - but was re-established in 1986 as a restaurant. You will then visit Minges and Sons Old Fashioned Candy Store. (Located next door to Washington Platform)
After lunch you will depart for the ARK ENCOUNTER and spend the afternoon. Warm up inside and explore the Ark Encounter! Scores of exhibits about the Flood, Noah, and the animals are designed to answer your questions about the biblical account of Noah’s Ark.
For dinner, you will enjoy a Holiday Buffet at EMZARA’S KITCHEN. As the night falls upon the Ark, guests will encounter the wonder of Christmas enjoying an unforgettable evening of festive lights, gift shopping including an extensive fair trade market, a stroll through Ararat Ridge Zoo and more. Better have your camera ready! The view is remarkably photogenic as you take in Noah's ark, the lake, and the gardens illuminated in an all-new, remarkable sea of rainbow-colored lights.
DAY 3 – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2019
You will enjoy a full hot breakfast and then depart for EnterTRAINment Junction, which boasts the largest indoor model train layout in the world, with more than 2 miles of track with 90 G-scale trains. Visitors are sure to transcend themselves to yesteryear upon entering EnterTRAINment through a 19th century streetscape and train depot; featuring 17-foot mountains and 11-foot waterfalls. There’s also a railroad museum, and hobby shop. Make sure you visit the Christmas displays!
Next, you will enjoy buffet lunch at La Comedia Dinner Theater, one of the finest Dinner Theaters in the Mid West. Then relax and enjoy a wonderful show, “ELF….the musical”, at the facility, where Roseanne’s John Goodman started his professional acting career
After the show you will take a Tour of Beau Verre Riordan Studios, the oldest continually operating stained glass studio in the country - established in 1838. Take a tour back in time as owners explain the history of the building and studio. View stained glass windows as the sun cascades through and cast different hues of colors on the floor.
You will then depart for Drury Inn, Middletown 3320 Village Dr Franklin, OH 45005. After check in, Enjoy the nightly "Kickback" All Drury hotels will have free hot food & cold beverages from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Following “Kickback”, will take a guided driving tour of Light Up Middletown. Enjoy the many thousands of Christmas lights and festive music as you circle Smith Park Lake, in the comfort of your coach. Every year more lights are added to what is becoming one of the largest displays in south western Ohio.
DAY 4 – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2019
You will have breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy a visit to “At the Manger”, at the University of Dayton Library. This is one of the largest collections of international Nativities in the United States, if not the World. This expansive and unique collection of 3,500 Nativity scenes comes from more than 100 countries. Join in celebrating how people around the world ponder and picture the birth of Christ through many different cultural lenses.
