Afterwards, head to downtown Grantsville for a stop at the Grantsville Museum located in the former First State Bank. Peruse historic photographs and learn about the B-52 Bomber that crashed in 1964. Experience a scenic chairlift ride to the top of MARSH MOUNTAIN overlooking Deep Creek Lake. Relax on the deck at WISP RESORT while your lunch is served. The mountain views and lake views are spectacular.

Next stop is a visit to SIMON PEARCE GLASS BLOWING FACTORY originally from Kilkenny, Ireland . Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the glassblowing process and visit their retail gift shop.

Visit SHAWNEE TRADING POST, a fun place to shop, if you can dream it up, they’ve got it!

The next stop will be BEAR CREEK TRADERS which offers the best Deep Creek Lake souvenirs and apparel. A souvenir will be available for you.

One final visit is to HUEY’S ICE CREAM where you’ll enjoy a delicious scoop of ice cream.
