We will start our morning out visiting the home of Warther Museum. Experience the story of the Warther Family and see how their beloved hobbies of carving, button collecting and knife making have left behind an amazing family legacy. Their carving were valued as “priceless” works of art by the Smithsonian Institution. The ivory carved “Lincoln Funeral Train” is a must see. Enjoy a family style meal at Der Dutchman Restaurant & Bakery, at the heart of Walnut Creek. Take time to shop in the Bakery & Gift Shop. Take time to shop at a Flea Market offering clothing, jewelry, home décor, and more. We’ll end our day at Hershberger’s Farm & Truck Patch. Looking for something sweet or heathy, this family owned business sells mouth watering pastries, homegrown fruits and vegetables in season, preserves and more.
