Tour the stunning OAK HILL MANSION in Uniontown, built by J.V. Thompson, a leading figure in the coal and coke boom of the late 19th. century. Following the mansion tour, enjoy a luncheon in the lovely dining room. A visit to the gift shop completes your visit. A driving tour around the city of Uniontown with a local guide who will point out some of the outstanding architecture that came with the wealth of the late 19th. century will be the next part of our day. The downtown shopping area boast several unique shops including YESTERDAY’S TODAY ANTIQUE SHOP, a large floral gift shop and several boutiques. A special activity is included at Gallery 86, owned by the Uniontown Art Club. Here you will find beautiful locally created artwork at reasonable prices. Each tour member creates a special craft to take home. At COLEBROOK CHOCOLATES in Connellsville you will sample delicious chocolates made right there on the premises. Of course, you may purchase some to take home!
