Stop at the Yankee Candle Factory, a sprawling  enchanting store where  you can explore a Christmas Village, themed rooms, and hundreds of unique candles and gifts. 

Squam Lake Cruise, Squam Lake featured in “On Golden Pond”. Tour with a local guide, take in breathtaking views of the lake’s untouched islands and shores. 

Mills Falls Marketplace, afternoon treat at Keller Haus, visit North Conway, a charming village with classic new England character. 

Explore local shops, quaint cafes, and historic storefronts, browse unique items from local artisans. 

Admission to the Cog Mountain Railroad, an unforgettable experience that takes you to the summit of the Northeast’s tallest mountain where panoramic views of the White Mountains and beyond await.  Start the journey south with a stop at Quechee Gorge, known as Vermont’s “Little Grand Canyon”.  A natural wonder carved by glacial activity and the Ottauquechee River.  Afterwards, arrive in Lake George, where you’ll have free time to explore the lakeside village end enjoy lunch.  Known as the “Queen of American Lakes”, Lake George offers beautiful waterfront views and quaint shops. 

Board the Mini Ha Ha Paddlewheel, a classic riverboat, for a scenic cruise on Lake George.  Relax as you drift across the clear waters surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains, taking in the serene beauty and historic mansions lining the shore.

September 12, 2025: Connecticut River Valley and Yankee Candle
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, stop at the iconic New London Lighthouse for photos against the stunning coastal backdrop. Head to Essex, CT, and embark on the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat experience. The vintage steam train transports you through scenic woodlands and along the Connecticut River, where lush scenery and historic sites unfold. Evening: Arrive in Lincoln, NH, and check into the Mountain Club at Loon, a cozy retreat nestled in the White Mountains. Enjoy a delicious dinner here or at a local eatery, immersing yourself in the rustic mountain ambiance. 

September 13, 2025: Squam Lake and the Café Lafayette Dinner Train
Morning: Start the day with breakfast, then board the coach with a local guide to Squam Lake, known for its natural beauty and featured in *On Golden Pond*. Glide across the lake on a scenic cruise, with opportunities to spot native loons and take in breathtaking views of the lake's untouched islands and shores.
Afternoon: Spend time exploring the Mills Falls Marketplace in Meredith, NH. This charming marketplace, housed in a historic mill, offers unique boutiques, specialty shops, and waterfront dining options where you can enjoy lunch on your own. Stop at Keller Haus Ice Cream and Candy Shop, a local gem offering homemade ice cream and artisanal chocolates. Savor a delightful treat in a nostalgic setting.
Evening: Return to Lincoln to refresh, then head out for a memorable evening aboard the

September 14, 2025: Scenic Highway and Mount Washington Cog Railway

Known as one of America’s top scenic routes, this winding road offers sweeping views of fall foliage, mountain vistas, and rivers. Afternoon: Arrive in Lake George, where you’ll have free time to explore the lakeside village and enjoy lunch on your own. Known as the 'Queen of American Lakes,' Lake George offers beautiful waterfront views and quaint shops. Board the Mini Ha Ha Paddlewheel, a classic riverboat, for a scenic cruise on Lake George.
