Meet your guide for a half day tour of Colonial Williamsburg including the Capitol and the Governor's Palace.
Virginia's restored 18th Century Capitol showcases a variety of restored and reconstructed homes and public buildings, museums, craft shops, taverns, and special entertainment in its 173-acre historic area.
After your tour, you will have free time for lunch on your own and to explore the area even further.
This afternoon you will have a guided tour of Jamestown Settlement. The Jamestown Settlement commemorates the first permanent English settlement in the New World. It features full-size replicas of the three ships that arrived in 1607. You will see the Jamestown Fort and Indian Village and wonderful museum exhibits.

Tour Ash Lawn-Highland. The home of Jefferson's good friend and fellow President James Monroe is a 535-acre estate where visitors can find the atmosphere of an early 19th-century working plantation.
Enjoy lunch today at the Historic Michie Tavern in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is one of the oldest homesteads remaining in Virginia. The Tavern and its outbuildings offer a glimpse of 18th-century life through the exhibit of handcrafted furnishings and artifacts. (Lunch included)
Arrive at Monticello. Tour the Thomas Jefferson Visitor Center and Smith Education Center. After your tour, you will catch the shuttle to the house.
Tour Monticello. The house is a remarkable integration of classical architecture and modern innovation designed by Jefferson and built on the mountain top where he played as a boy. You will also visit the spectacular Gardens and Mulberry Row, the plantation "street" along which Monticello slaves lived and labored.
