Day 1
Visit the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown in Yorktown, Virginia and enjoy a guided tour.  Exciting indoor galleries feature period artifacts, immersive environments, interactive exhibits and films, including the "Siege of Yorktown".

Check in to your hotel in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Enjoy dinner at The Whaling Company this evening. (Dinner included)

Arrive back at the hotel for the evening.

Day 2
Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel. (Breakfast included)

Meet your guide for a half day tour of Colonial Williamsburg including the Capitol and the Governor's Palace.
Virginia's restored 18th Century Capitol showcases a variety of restored and reconstructed homes and public buildings, museums, craft shops, taverns, and special entertainment in its 173-acre historic area.

After your tour, you will have free time for lunch on your own and to explore the area even further.

This afternoon you will have a guided tour of Jamestown Settlement.   The Jamestown Settlement commemorates the first permanent English settlement in the New World.   It features full-size replicas of the three ships that arrived in 1607.  You will see the Jamestown Fort and Indian Village and wonderful museum exhibits.

Freshen up at the hotel and enjoy dinner at one of the Colonial Tavern Restaurants (TBA)  (Dinner included)

Day 3
Enjoy breakfast this morning before checking out. (Breakfast included)

Tour Ash Lawn-Highland.   The home of Jefferson's good friend and fellow President James Monroe is a 535-acre estate where visitors can find the atmosphere of an early 19th-century working plantation.

Enjoy lunch today at the Historic Michie Tavern in Charlottesville, Virginia.  This is one of the oldest homesteads remaining in Virginia.    The Tavern and its outbuildings offer a glimpse of 18th-century life through the exhibit of handcrafted furnishings and artifacts.  (Lunch included)

Arrive at Monticello.  Tour the Thomas Jefferson Visitor Center and Smith Education Center.  After your tour, you will catch the shuttle to the house.

Tour Monticello.  The house is a remarkable integration of classical architecture and modern innovation designed by Jefferson and built on the mountain top where he played as a boy.  You will also visit the spectacular Gardens and Mulberry Row, the plantation "street" along which Monticello slaves lived and labored.

Check in to your hotel in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Tonight dinner will be on your own at the Pedestrian Mall.

Day 4
Enjoy breakfast this morning at the hotel before checking out (Breakfast included)

Make a short stop at the Rotunda & Academical Village of The University of Virgnia for a photo opportunity.

Arrive at James Madison's Montpelier, home of the 4th President of the United States and Father of the Constitution, James and Dolly Madison.   Tour the mansion and learn about Madison and his wife Dolly - America's first First Lady.

Next stop is lunch at the Historic George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Virginia - hometown of Patsy Cline.  Enjoy Patsy Cline live entertainment during lunch. (Lunch included)

Continue home to Pittsburgh.   Arrive early evening.
