Day 1 we start the fun at CASTLE NOEL, America's largest indoor year-round Christmas entertainment attraction. View Christmas Movieland props and costumes at DIRECTLY FROM HOLLYWOOD. See millions of dollars of animated NYC department store Christmas window displays and walk through and experience the joy as a child as you see toys you received on Christmas at 'I HAD THAT' Toyland Experience. We continue on to Elkhart Indiana for the evening.
Day 2 Breakfast included at the hotel. We visit the SHRINE OF CHRIST'S PASSION in St.John, Indiana for mass followed by a multi-media interactive, half-mile winding trail of 40 life-size bronze sculptures. Each weighing 300 to 700 pounds, they vividly tell the story of the last days of Christ. A boxed lunch will be included at the Shrine. Dinner will be included at the Radisson Hotel followed by The Smoke Dancers. The Smoke Dance is a social dance of the Haudenosaunee/Iroquois. The goal of the Smoke Dancers is to show their flair for dance using two types of dance: slow and fast.
Day 3 Breakfast is included at the hotel before departure to the NATIONAL SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF GOOD HELP. Discover the story of Adele Brise. Learn about her vision of Mary and the work she did among the early settlers of Wisconsin. Be amazed at the story of the Great Peshtigo Fire. After the presentation and tour, time will be allowed to visit the grounds and for those who would like to, attend mass. A boxed lunch is included today. Tonight we will arrive at Lake Geneva and begins with a short presentation on the history of the BAKER HOUSE. Time will be allowed for a self-guided tour of the first floor before proceeding to dinner. A dinner buffet is included at the Baker House.
Day 4 Starts with breakfast included at the hotel followed by an experience at the WANDERING TREE, one of the most beautiful venues in the country. Scenic Railways created by renowned artist and designer Elaine Silets, quietly weave paths throughout the Wandering Tree's multi-acre estate gardens and grounds. Lunch is included at LINDY'S LANDING. Following lunch, sit back, enjoy the view and a local storyteller. This afternoon discover the SANFILIPPO ESTATES "Place de la Musique". This private estate features one of the world's finest collections of restored, automatic musical instruments and other, turn-of-the-century antiques. It is known worldwide for its magnificent collections of beautifully restored antique music machines, phonographs, arcade and gambling machines, chandeliers, art glass, the world's largest restored theatre pipe organ and much more. This evening, enjoy a "Pizza Party" accompanied by playing cards or swimming in the pool.
Day 5 Breakfast is included at the hotel followed by a short walk to LAKE GENEVA CRUISE LINES for a scenic tour on the lake. Lunch is on your own with some time for shopping in downtown Lake Geneva. Afterwards we visit Lake Geneva's first and only winery, STUDIO WINERY AND GENEVA LAKE DISTILLING. Enjoy tasting 5 of their wines and receive a complimentary bottle of wine of your choice. Dinner will be include at ROSEWOOD followed by Mark and Gretch performing LEGENDS and LOVE SONGS: hits of Elvis, Diana Ross, Tom Jones, Barbara Streisand, Barry Manilow, Aretha Franklin, Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline, Frank Sinatra, Celine Dion and more.
Day 6 Breakfast included at the hotel and head to TEMPLE FARMS. In the 16th and 17th centuries, many riding masters in Europe created academies where they taught sophisticated training methods, which elevated plain riding to an art form. Your tour guide will take you through the performance stables and acquaint you with the history of the Lippizzans and classical riding while introducing you to several of the stallions. Lunch will be on your own enroute to BASILICA OF THE SACRED HEART at The University of Notre Dame. Neo-gothic in style the Basilica is home to the largest collection of 19th century French stained glass in the world as well as the oldest carillon in North America. Afterwards we depart for DAS DUTCHMAN ESSENHAUS for our last evening of the tour.
