The first day there is a one night stay at the Quality Inn, Mystic Ct. where you’ll have dinner on your own.
On Day 2, travel to the land of bright, buoy-covered lobster shacks, quaint fishing villages, rocky shoreline and Maine’s one -of-a-kind cribstone bridge. Located at the very tip of one of Maine’s coastal fingers, ready your cameras for lots of photo-ops on picturesque Bailey Island. Visit Land’s End Gift Shop, a Maine landmark at the very edge of the isle. After lunch at FAMOUS COOK’S LOBSTER HOUSE, meet your guide and see why the Boothbay Harbor Region is the soul of the Maine Coast. Explore quiet coves, rocky shores, meandering country roads and beautiful lighthouses, salt water birds and local lobster fishermen. Take time for dinner on your own, in the delightful coastal village of BOOTHBAY HARBOR CENTER, filled with shops, eateries and beautiful views of Maine’s rocky coastline. Arrive at the FIRESIDE INN & SUITES, BELFAST ME for a two night stay.
Day 3, enjoy an expanded continental breakfast, and then travel to DOWNTOWN BAR HARBOR. Take time for lunch and to explore this wonderful coastal center filled with shops, galleries, museums and restaurants. Later onto BAR HARBOR AND ACADIA NATIONAL PARK. Meet your guide and be amazed by the natural wonders of this Maine Treasure. You will travel to the Peak of Cadillac Mountain for breathtaking views of the mountains and the Atlantic. Venture to Otter Point and experience the rocky cliffs jutting out into the crashing surf. Witness the wonder of Sieur De Mont Springs and the power of the surf at Thunder Hole. MAINE LOBSTER DINNER INCLUDED!
After breakfast, on day 4, experience the LIGHTHOUSE LOVERS CRUISE. Maines rugged, rocky coast and picturesque lighthouses- what a combo!! The scene unfolds as you cruise from Portland’s scenic harbor seeing the Calendar Islands, coastal forts, Maine Lobster boats, playful seals and an array of seabirds. View as many as seven lighthouses, including up close experience of Maine’s oldest and historic lighthouse, PORTLAND HEADLIGHT, proudly perched on one of Maine’s famous rocky outcrops overlooking this beautiful harbor. Time for lunch and shopping in OLD PORT, PORTLAND, this city’s historic, waterfront district. KENNEBUNKPORT TOUR-Meet your guide and discover charming Kennebunkport’s 300 year history, from the native Americans, early settlers to the shipbuilding era. Enjoy views of the presidential home- THE BUSH ESTATE, WEDDING CAKE HOUSE AND THE FRANCISCAN MONASTERY. Hear the history of this scenic Maine coastal community. Dinner included.
We’ll arrive for a one night stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites, Springfield MA for a one night stay, and after breakfast the next day head for home.
