As we set off for the legendary Black Hills, we will encounter the following along the way:
DAY 1 - Depart from your hometown and travel to Chicago, Illinois. Your guide will show you the highlights of the Windy City, then depart for your lodging in the area. Check in and prepare for dinner in the area and a restful night.
DAY 2 - Following breakfast, check out and travel to the Wisconin Dells. Upon arrival, climb aboard a cruise boat for a one-hour cruise of the Lower Dells, then enjoy some free time in the area. Lodging tonight is in the Wisconsin Dells, with dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 3 - After breakfast, check out and head west to Mitchell, SD, where you will visit amazing Corn Palace before checking into your lodging. Dinner is included this evening.
DAY 4 - Enjoy breakfast, then check out and depart westward, traveling through the Badlands National Park with a stop at the visitor's center. Continue to your lodging in the Rapid City area, where dinner awaits. After dinner, enjoy a leisurely evening.
DAY 5 - After breakfast, depart with your local guide and return to Mt Rushmore National Memorial to walk the President's Trail. Stop at Crazy Horse Memorial and visit the Museum of the North American Indian. During a drive through Custer State Park, you'll view an abundance of native wildlife. Return to your lodging to prepare for dinner, then depart for dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 6 - Arise to breakfast, then meet your guide and head for a visit to the Journey Museum where you can explore the heritage of the cultures of the Black Hills region. Visit the Mt. Rushmore Black HIlls Gold Factory, then depart for Historic Deadwood and Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Dinner is included this evening.
DAY 7 - Following breakfast, check out and travel eastward, stopping at Wall Drug where you'll find a little bit of everything! Al's Oasis is a great place to stop for lunch, some "5 cent coffee" and souvenirs before continuing to Sioux Falls, SD for dinner and lodging.
DAY 8 - Breakfast, then travel to Davenport, Iowa. Dinner is included this evening, then try your luck at a riverfront casino.
DAY 9 - After breakfast, check out and prepare for your departure home, taking with you beautiful memories of your vacation in the Black Hills of South Dakota!Tour Price:
