Euclid Avenue's "Millionaires' Row" was home to some of the nation's most powerful and influential industrialists, including John D. Rockefeller. Around the turn of the 20th century, Baedeker's Travel Guide dubbed Euclid Avenue the "Showplace of America" for its beautiful elm-lined sidewalks and ornate mansions situated amid lavish gardens. The concentration of wealth was unparalleled, with accounts of the time comparing it to the Avenue des Champs-Eysees in Paris.

This is your guide's hometown! Warren was one of the first towns in the US to have electric street illumination. The National Packard Museum - learn about the family, the industries and the automobile, including classics dating back to 1903! This museum highlights the history of the Packard family, the Packard Motor Car and other Packard enterprises.

Built by General Simon Perkins, it is the third oldest surviving house on Mahoning Avenue in Warren, OH. The Taylor-Upton House became the temporary center of the National American Woman Suffrage Association in 1903. Harriet Taylor Upton was instrumental in getting women the right to vote in the United States. Learn about the many obstacles women conquered, thanks to Harriet Upton and many other women.
