Built by General Simon Perkins, it is the third oldest surviving house on Mahoning Avenue in Warren, OH. The Taylor-Upton House became the temporary center of the National American Woman Suffrage Association in 1903. Harriet Taylor Upton was instrumental in getting women the right to vote in the United States. Learn about the many obstacles women conquered, thanks to Harriet Upton and many other women.
